This Privacy Policy describes how adiga.ai ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you use the adiga.ai chatbot service ("Service"). By accessing or using adiga.ai, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

• 2.1. Information You Provide:
  • Account Information: When you sign up or log in (e.g., via email or OAuth providers like Google), we collect information necessary for authentication, such as your email address and name provided by the OAuth service.
  • User Content: We collect the prompts, questions, text, and other content you submit while interacting with adiga.ai ("Inputs"), and the responses generated by the AI ("Outputs"). Inputs and Outputs are collectively referred to as "User Content".
• 2.2. Information Collected Automatically:
  • Usage Data: We collect information about your interactions with the Service, such as features used, session duration, timestamps, and interactions with UI elements. This may be collected via our backend systems (e.g., Supabase logs) or analytics tools.
  • Device and Connection Information: We may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and similar technical information when you access the Service. This is often collected by our hosting provider (Supabase) and analytics provider (Cloudflare).
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies necessary for service functionality (e.g., managing your login session via Supabase Auth). Cookies are small text files stored on your device.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

• 3.1. Providing and Maintaining the Service: To operate adiga.ai, authenticate users, process your Inputs, generate Outputs (which involves sending Inputs to Anthropic's AI models), store your chat history (via Supabase), respond to your requests, and ensure functionality.
• 3.2. Improving and Developing the Service (Opt-Out Available):
  • Your Choice: You have control over whether your User Content is used for this purpose. By default, we use User Content to improve and train our Service and the underlying AI models (including those provided by Anthropic) to make adiga.ai better for everyone. This helps enhance accuracy, capabilities, and safety.
  • How to Opt-Out: You can disable this use of your User Content at any time by navigating to your account settings and toggling off the "Improve the model for everyone" (or similarly named) option. If you opt-out, your new User Content submitted after opting out will not be used for model training or service improvement, though this does not affect usage prior to your opt-out.
  • Anonymization: When using User Content for improvement, we take steps to de-identify or aggregate it where feasible, but the nature of AI training may involve processing raw content.
  • Dataset Creation: If you have not opted out, we may also use anonymized or aggregated User Content to create datasets for research or public release to further AI development.
• 3.3. Analytics: To understand how users interact with adiga.ai using tools like Cloudflare Web Analytics, allowing us to analyze trends, monitor performance, and improve user experience. Cloudflare may collect usage and device data as described in their privacy policy.
• 3.4. Communication: To communicate with you regarding your account, support requests, or important service updates.
• 3.5. Security and Compliance: To maintain security, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with the following parties under limited circumstances:

• 4.1. Service Providers:
  • Anthropic: We share your Inputs with Anthropic to generate the AI Outputs. Anthropic processes this data according to their terms and privacy policy.
  • Supabase: We use Supabase for backend infrastructure, including authentication, database storage (for account info and chat history), and hosting. Supabase processes data according to their terms and privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand service usage. Cloudflare processes data according to their terms and privacy policy.
• 4.2. Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.
• 4.3. Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to confidentiality agreements.
• 4.4. Aggregated/Anonymized Data: We may share aggregated or anonymized data (which does not identify you) for research, analysis, or dataset publication, provided you have not opted out of data use for improvement as described in Section 3.2.
• 4.5. Consent: For other purposes disclosed to you or with your explicit consent.

5. User Controls and Rights

• 5.1. Opt-Out of Content Use for Improvement: You can control whether your User Content is used for model training and service improvement via the toggle in your account settings, as described in Section 3.2.
• 5.2. Deleting Chats: You can delete your entire chat history using the "Delete All Chats" function in your account settings. This will remove the chat data associated with your account from our primary Supabase database, subject to Supabase's data retention practices and potential backup cycles. Note that deletion will not retroactively affect models already trained using your data before deletion, nor will it remove your data from any datasets that may have been created and used for training prior to deletion.
• 5.3. Access, Correction, Deletion: Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information beyond the controls provided. Please contact us to make such requests.
• 5.4. Account Deletion: You may be able to delete your entire account via settings or by contacting us. This will delete your account information and associated chats per the process in 5.2.
• 5.5. Cookies: You can typically manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies may affect Service functionality.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Chat history is retained until you delete it or delete your account. Information used for model training may be retained longer in aggregated or de-identified forms within model weights or training datasets, even after you delete your chats or account.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed by us or our service providers (like Supabase in the EU, Anthropic and Cloudflare potentially globally) in countries outside your own, where data protection laws may differ. We rely on mechanisms like Standard Contractual Clauses or provider certifications where applicable to ensure adequate protection.

9. Children's Privacy

adiga.ai is not intended for individuals under 13 (or a higher age threshold where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If we become aware of such collection, we will take steps to delete the information.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party sites or services not governed by this policy. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and/or through other means (e.g., a notice within the Service). Your continued use of adiga.ai after changes indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
